In a beautiful display of inter-communal harmony, members of Deepajala Samaja Kendraya traveled to Silavathura in the Mannar district to participate in the traditional Rice Harvesting Festival (Paddy) with our Muslim brothers and sisters.
This participation highlights our organization's core values of unity and compassion across all communities in Sri Lanka. Sharing in the joy of the harvest allows us to build stronger bonds of friendship and mutual respect.
We thank the people of Silavathura for their warm hospitality and for inviting us to be a part of their cultural milestone.
